Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 File System

        Oracle EBS especially for Database Tier and Application Tier File System (fs1, fs2, and fs_ne)

Database Tier Files (12c Database Oracle Home & Datafiles)
        Database Tier files are located (/u01/oracle/PROD) directory in the Oracle EBS install base directory. 
The database tier files are as follows.

    1) 12.1.0
    2) data

    3) cfgtoollogs

Application Tier Files

    The Application Tier Files are located (/u01/oracle/PROD) directory in the Oracle EBS install base directory and it is owned by applmgr user.

1) File System 1 (fs1) - FS1 as a run file     (/u01/oracle/PROD/fs1)

2) File System 2 (fs2) - FS2 as a patch file  (/u01/oracle/PROD/fs2)

3) fs_ne 

    

    File System 1 and File System 2 are identical. The roles keep getting changed with each ADOP patching cycle. which don’t have any editions are under the fs_ne.
